LONG RANGER 4

The Long Ranger 4 is the highest output portable PA system of it's type. The built-in wireless microphone, the convenient second wireless channel, the rechargeable power supply, or external 12 Volt DC power and the high audio output, set this system apart from any other portable PA system on the market. The Long Ranger 4 features a VHF wireless microphone system, with up to 750 feet of operating range due to a High Performance receiver, which rejects interference. The antenna is an integral part of the horn speaker to eliminate damage. 

A squelch circuit automatically quiets the system when the transmitter is turned off. The standard transmitter supplied with the Long Ranger is a belt-pack type compatible with all Lectrosonics headset and lavalier microphones. Several other transmitters are also available to match other microphones or special requirements.

The Long Ranger 4 was designed with the concept of "expansion" in mind, it is dual channel ready. The optional add-on receiver operates from the Long Ranger 4 internal battery pack through the 12-Volt DC OUT jack. A high current battery charger also serves as an AC power supply for use with 100-240 VAC power outlets.  The second receiver is easily mounted within seconds.

The amplifier produces an honest 33 Watts (RMS) with low distortion into the 8 Ohm speaker. This produces enough audio output to cover an area the size of a football field. The amplifier powers either the built-in speaker or 1 or 2 external 8 Ohm speakers.
