auctioneer at several weekly auto auctions. He is the 2002 NC

Col. Reger has a Master of Science in Education from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute.
Graduate of the Mendenhall School of Auctioneering (1978). He is responsible for
auctioning sales, displays, publicity, ad layout and appraisals, plus over 25
charity auctions per year. He also does many city and county surplus equipment
auctions and large quantities of antique auctions.

Charlie obtained his BA from Lenoir-Rhyne College and has a MBA from Southwestern University.
He is on the training
committee for the SCSB Association and has been an instructor for Dale Carnegie
courses for over 35
years. Charlie is a licensed auctioneer and a graduate of the Mendenhall School of
Auctioneering. Mr. Lucas teaches Public Speaking, Hygiene and Dress

Col. Tommy Martindale is a well- respected and
outstanding auctioneer. He specializes in livestock and car & truck
auctions. A 1983 Mendenhall School of Auctioneering graduate, he
currently conducts 5 car & truck auctions each week and does special
feeder calf auctions each year. Col. Martindale is a Vietnam Veteran and a fluent bid-caller, he was the 1991 NC

STEVE PROFFITT III, ATTORNEY Gadsden, AL |

Steve Proffitt III is
an Auction Law Attorney, whose areas of practice include contracts
and commercial law. Mr. Proffitt has been a licensed auctioneer
and attorney for over 20 years and teaches law to include UCC. He is a
nationally
recognized expert on legal and ethical issues pertaining to auctions
and auctioneering. He is also legal counsel to the Virginia
Auctioneers Association and in 1997 he authored a 150-page report for the Governor of
Virginia and revealed multiple errors in the Virginia Auctioneer’s
Board regulation, license examination and procedures. Enrollment

Mr. Proffitt’s columns appear regularly in Antique Week, Maine
Antique Digest, The Auction Exchange & Collectors’ News, Auction
World, Antiques & Auction News, plus numerous collectors' and

to include “Auctioneers, Contracts & the UCC” and “Stepping
Around Lawyers, Claims & Liability.” |

Col. Williams is a graduate of Appalachian State University
where he obtained his BSBA in Business Management. He has been
an auctioneer since 1969. The winner of the 1982 World
Livestock Auctioneer Championship. Dan conducts general
auctions on the weekends and is an automobile auctioneer at several

LELAND LITTLE

Leland Little is
the President of Leland Little Auction & Estate Sales, Ltd.
He
has been employed in the antiques, estate and auction business
full-time for over ten years. Mr. Little graduated from Radford University in
Radford, Virginia in 1992 and has a specialized interest in American
furniture. Leland holds an auctioneering license in several
southeastern states. He is also a licensed NC Real Estate Agent.

conducts estate sales in addition to antique consignment gallery
sales. He has won numerous
advertising awards, including “Best in the Show” from the AANC. He

King, a Mendenhall graduate, lives in the mountains of North Carolina.
He opened his own auto auction in 1986. He is the 1996 NC
State Champion Auctioneer. Col. King conducts auctions
throughout the Mid-West and

Richard (Rick) A. Romanus, Sr. is
President/CEO of Blue Ridge Digital (a national award winning video
production company) and AuctionServices.com, Inc. (the largest auction
community on the Internet). He has been a pioneer and motivator in the
Auction Industry for more than eleven (11) years. Rick has expertise in
high-tech digital video production, Internet hosting/design, and
cutting edge tools/software that has won many state and national awards.
He has been an associate member of the NAA
and many
Auctioneer Associations since 1995.
