School of Auctioneering in August 1992. He is currently working as an
auctioneer at several weekly auto auctions. He is the 2002 NC

Col. Reger has a Master of Science in Education from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute.
Graduate of the Mendenhall School of Auctioneering (1978). He is responsible for
auctioning sales, displays, publicity, ad layout and appraisals, plus over 25
charity auctions per year. He also does many city and county surplus equipment
auctions and large quantities of antique auctions.

| Jane
is a member of the National Auctioneers Association, the Auctioneers
Association of Maryland and past president. Also a frequent
seminar presenter for the National Auctioneers Association and many
other businesses nation-wide. Jane is the creator of the
(GPPA) Graduate Personal Property Appraiser for the NAA. Also a
graduate of Strayer University, Washington, D.C. and earned a master
of arts degree at Morgan State University. She has also taught many
Personal Property classes for the NAA. Mendenhall is proud to
have her as an instructor to help
new incoming auctioneers.

COL. TOMMY MARTINDALE

Col. Tommy Martindale is a well- respected and
outstanding auctioneer. He specializes in livestock and car & truck
auctions. A 1983 Mendenhall School of Auctioneering graduate, he
currently conducts 5 car & truck auctions each week and does special
feeder calf auctions each year. Col. Martindale is a Vietnam Veteran and a fluent bid-caller, he was the 1991 NC

STEVE PROFFITT III, ATTORNEY Gadsden, AL |

Steve Proffitt III is
an Auction Law Attorney, whose areas of practice include contracts
and commercial law. Mr. Proffitt has been a licensed auctioneer
and attorney for over 20 years and teaches law to include UCC. He is a
nationally
recognized expert on legal and ethical issues pertaining to auctions
and auctioneering. He is also legal counsel to the Virginia
Auctioneers Association and in 1997 he authored a 150-page report for the Governor of
Virginia and revealed multiple errors in the Virginia Auctioneer’s
Board regulation, license examination and procedures. Enrollment

Mr. Proffitt’s columns appear regularly in Antique Week, Maine
Antique Digest, The Auction Exchange & Collectors’ News, Auction
World, Antiques & Auction News, plus numerous collectors' and
associations’ publications. Mr. Proffitt also conducts many seminars
to include “Auctioneers, Contracts & the UCC” and “Stepping
Around Lawyers, Claims & Liability.” |

Col. Williams is a graduate of Appalachian State University
where he obtained his BSBA in Business Management. He has been
an auctioneer since 1969. The winner of the 1982 World
Livestock Auctioneer Championship. Dan conducts general
auctions on the weekends and is an automobile auctioneer at several

KENNEDY |

Kris Kennedy is a Graduate of Florida
State University in the field of ISO
9001 Auditor, AutoCAD programming, and Microsoft Office Suite,
1993-1997. Now teaches
seminars on Auction Flex, an auction software.
Also, teaches general technology in the auction field. We
are excited to have Kris as a technology instructor here at Mendenhall
School of Auctioneering.
