9-day course in order to receive a diploma. A high school

GENERAL INFORMATION CONCERNING
VETERANS ABSENCES: Excused absences will include illness,
death in the family and acts of God. All other absences will be unexcused.
Students enrolled for VA educational benefits will be terminated for excused or
unexcused absences. VA students terminated for attendance (absences) may
be re-enrolled for one additional program attempt only, once school officials
have determined and resolved the conditions that caused termination.
CONDUCT: Insubordination to instructors or
administrators will be cause for termination. Students enrolled for VA
benefits will be terminated when school officials determine a conduct issue
warrants and will not be allowed to re-enter.
GRADING: Minimum grade considered satisfactory is
75. Students enrolled for VA benefits will be terminated when the average
grade falls below 75. VA students terminated for standards of
progress may be re-enrolled for one additional program attempt only,
once school officials have determined and resolved the conditions
that caused termination. PROBATION:
There is no probationary period during the course. This is
a short, intense course of 9 days and students who make
unsatisfactory grades will not receive a diploma. However,
students will be permitted to return for another term without
further tuition and fee. The Director will review the
student's situation to determine that conditions warrant re-entry and
that the student can benefit by repeating the course. When
the course is satisfactorily completed, students will be issued a
diploma. School officials will keep permanent records of
graduations and student achievement for a minimum of 3 years.
REFUND POLICY Refund policy for veterans or eligible
persons: A
refund of the unused portion of tuition, fees and other charges will be made to
veterans or eligible persons who fail to enter or fail to complete the course as
required by Veterans Administration Regulations. The refund will be a pro-rate
refund. No more than $10 of the established enrollment fee will be retained if a
veteran or eligible person fails to enter the course.
Refund policy for non-veterans: There is an
enrollment fee of $100 that is non-refundable. If the student requests
termination during the first three days of the term, the exact pro-rate unused
portion of his tuition will be refunded. After the third day, no refund will be made. To quality for a refund
the student must notify the school administration in writing during the second
day of the term.
